§ 17-2-9-217. Hearings.

A.

All hearings pursuant to a written appeal shall be held in not less than fifteen (15) calendar days nor more than thirty (30) calendar days from the date the appeal was filed, and notice of such hearing shall be provided at least forty-eight (48) hours prior to the hearing to the appellant, to the members of the committee, and to the city manager.

B.

Hearings on appeals are to be called by the chair of the committee.

C.

The committee shall determine such rules of procedure as will provide efficient and equitable conduct of its hearings.
