§ 10-15-3-306. Creation and naming of increment district(s).

A.

Increment District No. 1, City of Lawton, which is both an ad valorem and sales tax increment, was created May 9, 2006.

B.

The sales tax increment component of Increment District No. 1 is hereby terminated as of June 30, 2010.

C.

The area within the boundaries of Increment District No. 1 is reduced effective July 1, 2010, to the area within the boundaries described in paragraph D of this Section 10-15-3-306.

D.

The boundaries of Increment District No. 1, an ad valorem tax increment district, from July 1, 2010, and thereafter are hereby designated and adopted as follows:

Boundary Description

That portion of the City of Lawton lying within a line described as beginning at a point where the East right-of-way line of Business Highway 281 intersects the North right-of-way line of NW Ferris Avenue; thence westerly along the North right-of-way line of NW Ferris Avenue to its intersection with the West right-of-way line of NW 14th Street extended; thence southerly along the West right-of-way line of NW 14th Street to its intersection with the South right-of-way line of SW F Avenue; thence easterly along the South right-of-way line of SW F Avenue to its intersection with the West right-of-way line of SW 11th Street; thence southerly along the West right-of-way line of SW 11th Street to its intersection with the North right-of-way line of the Burlington-Northern Railroad; thence easterly and northerly along the North and West right-of-way line of the Burlington-Northern Railroad to its intersection with the East right-of-way line of the Oklahoma-Kansas-Texas Railroad; thence southerly along the East right-of-way line of the Oklahoma-Kansas-Texas Railroad to its intersection with the South right-of-way line of Interstate 44; thence northwesterly along the Southwest right-of-way line of Interstate 44 to its intersection with the East right-of-way line of Business Highway 281; thence southwesterly along the East right-of-way line of Business Highway 281 to the point of beginning.

EXCLUDING the following area:

All of Blocks 1, 2, 21, 22, 23, 24, 43, 44, 45, 46, 65, and Lots 1-8 of Block 66 of North Addition to the Townsite of Lawton, in the South Half of Section 30, Township 2 North, Range 11 West, I.M., Comanche County, Oklahoma, according to the recorded plat thereof, including all right, title and interest in and to vacated streets and alleys abutting thereon.

E.

Increment District No. 2, City of Lawton, is hereby created effective July 1, 2010.

F.

For identification purposes, the name of the increment district created and established by this ordinance, which is an ad valorem, sales and use, and Occupancy Tax increment district, the boundaries of which are described in paragraph G of this Section 10-15-3-306, shall be Increment District No. 2, City of Lawton.

G.

Effective July 1, 2010, the boundaries of Increment District No. 2, an ad valorem, sales and use, and Occupancy Tax increment district, are hereby designated and adopted as follows:

All of Blocks 1, 2, 21, 22, 23, 24, 43, 44, 45, 46, 65, and Lots 1-8 of Block 66 of North Addition to the Townsite of Lawton, in the South Half of Section 30, Township 2 North, Range 11 West, I.M., Comanche County, Oklahoma, according to the recorded plat thereof, including all right, title and interest in and to vacated streets and alleys abutting thereon.
